Crawford will be playing for the 8th different team in his 19th NBA season.

Just one day before the 2018-19 season kicks off, free agent guard Jamal Crawford has finally found a home for the upcoming year. According to multiple reports, the three-time Sixth Man of the Year has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Phoenix Suns for the veteran's minimum.

The Suns mark the eighth franchise that Crawford has suited up for during his 19-year NBA career. The 38-year old played spent last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 10.3 points per game, which is his lowest average since the 2001-02 season when he appeared in just 23 games for the Chicago Bulls. For his career, Crawford boasts career averages of 15 points and 3.4 assists per game.

The Suns finished with an NBA-worst 21-61 record last season and selected University of Arizona center DeAndre Ayton with the #1 overall pick in the 2018 Draft. They also acquired former Villanova three-and-D specialist Mikal Bridges in a draft day trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Phoenix will host the Dallas Mavericks in the season opener on Wednesday, October 17.
