Amber Rose's fan army now has the opportunity to cash in on their loyalty. The "SlutWalk" founder launched a new app on Monday that is meant to empower women and inspire them to achieve their goals.
“I wanted it to be very personal so it’s going to be full of content you can’t find on any of my other platforms,” Rose said in a press release. “I also know how amazing my fans are, so this gives me the opportunity to show them I see and hear them. I want to give back and build a tight-knit community in which they can all feel empowered to be themselves with the support of other members of the amazing Amber Rose community.”
The app is designed in a way that will help the celebrity identify and select her biggest fans. Those community members will then be the recipients of funding for their projects. The funds will support a variety of endeavors that would directly contribute to the success of her selected "Rosebuds," such as their education or even their housing.
The financing will come from Amber Rose's own pocketbook.
Rose is encouraging her fans to signup to her app through her very first giveaway: a flight to her Slutwalk event in October.
