Can anybody really flow like Method Man? Since the Wu-Tang legend first arrived on the scene during the 36 Chambers era, he's been steadily impressing the game with his effortless bars. Even today, Meth still casually murders instrumentals like he hasn't lost a step. Now, he's teamed up with longtime Wu affiliate Streetlife for a new banger called "Squad Up." If that wasn't enough for purists, eternally slept on producer Havoc, of Mobb Deep fame, has contributed a beat to the cause.

The track is set to appear on an upcoming collaborative project between Meth and Streetlife, which has yet to yield an official title. Still, the rollout has commenced, and "Squad Up" signals an unapologetic return to gritty, street bars. Off the bat, Method Man sets up a crazy scheme; it's not entirely new territory, but as always, the return trip yields many fantastic memories. Streetlife holds his own in the closing verse, proving that he's more than capable of keeping up with Meth's Shaolin Style. Peep the single now, and long live Prodigy.

Quotable Lyrics

Big dummy, garbage rappers we Redd Foxx him
Shoot an actor in hi-def, then red box him
Tip the scales in my favor stay in your top ten
If life's like a triple beam, I'm weighing my options
Ya'll like why Meth, you high Meth
Keep a big poppa cause I ain't ready to die yet
