"The Voice" host Adam Levine just inadvertently made an enemy out of former NBA enforcer Kendrick Perkins.
There's a lot to unpack but here's the bottom line: Perk is apparently a huge fan of DeAndre Nico, who is a member of Levine's team on the show.

On Tuesday, Nico was among three contestants up for an "Instant Save" along with Dave Fenley and 14-year old Reagan Strange, who was unable to compete because of an illness. Although Strange was unable to sing for the "Instant Save," she still received more of a vote than DeAndre Nico thanks to Levine encouraging viewers to vote for her.
“There is an unbelievably talented little girl right now who is not able to fight for her position on this show,” Levine said to Nico, according to Yahoo. “I have two little girls at home. The thought of breaking [Reagan’s] heart by not urging everyone to give this girl a shot to redeem herself next week would be too far beneath me. I want you to know I love you. I appreciate what you did here tonight. Honestly, I think you should both be there. But I’ve got tonight for my girl. I have to fight for her properly, because she didn’t have a voice to fight tonight. That’s all I can say. It’s weird.”
After Nico was wronged by the Maroon 5 singer, Perkins took to IG to voice his displeasure which included this gem: "@Adamlevine you are bullshit mother fucka for that hoe shit!"
