Hopefully, she gets Young Thug features on every song.

Young Thug and Jerrika Karlae were once the epitome of "couple goals." After allegations came out last year about Thugger cheating on his girl, their relationship came crumbling down. However, Thug has worked tirelessly to win back the love of his life and earlier this year, it appeared that they were getting back together. The specifics of their coupledom are unclear but they seemingly still have one thing in common: music. After teasing her mixtape last year, Jerrika seems to be fully serious about embarking on a musical career of her own, following in her on-again-off-again fiancé's footsteps.

Karlae shared a photo of herself in the studio and it looks as though she's definitely moving forward in music, adopting a mindset where nobody can phase her. She wrote, "I’m taking this sh*t oh so serious...and I got hitz." She continued by stating her mission to create music that people can relate to, selflessly focusing her craft on those who may need it. Anticipating the haters calling her out on trying to ride a wave of people becoming rappers, Karlae wrote, "Ion wanna hear how everybody rapping...yeah dat way me too. It’s enough creativity and money for all." While the date of her mixtape has not been announced, there is hopefully room for a few appearances by Young Thug and the YSL crew on there.

Would you check out a tape by Jerrika Karlae? Hopefully, she's been taking notes on how to become a rap superstar.
