Michael Boatwright is calling on the 14th amendment.

The defense team of Michael Boatwright, one of the four men arrested in connection to the murder of XXXTentacion, is claiming that prosecutors are withholding documents and information that could help Michael's case. According to Complex, the files include "arrest warrant affidavits, witness lists, police reports" and other notes in relation to the prosecution's evidence against Michael.

“Other than the broadly worded indictment, the State has provided no information whatsoever regarding the nature of the evidence against Mr. Boatright,” his lawyer wrote, according to the publication. “Such failure by the State to furnish the Defendant with discovery has seriously impeded the preparation of the case and has thereby unjustly jeopardize the ability of Mr. Boatwright’s attorneys to prepare a defense.”

Michael got arrested in July and his lawyer is demanding the documents immediately to move forward with the case.
