Take a look into the "King Push" group chat.

Pusha T has always been his own biggest fan. He declared 2013's My Name Is My Name "hip-hop album of the year" upon release, and he seems to be similarly confident in its proper follow-up: King Push. As OnSmash points out, Def Jam A&R Steven Victor has given fans an exclusive look into his group chat, which includes Terrence Thornton, better known as Pusha T.

"My album is so gooooooood," he says when asked for an update. "I'm scared to say it but I think it's flawless."

The album he's referring to has gone through many changes. Shortly after My Name Is My Name was released, Push said that the project would be produced by a reunited Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo as the Neptunes. Since then, it's become a Kanye-produced project -- though according to Push, even in Ye's hands, they've started from scratch multiple times. "I'm gonna go ahead and let y'all know," he said last September. "I've done this album like three times, right. [Kanye] come in, he pick all the beats and shit. Then he hears the beats and he scraps them and says 'I can do better.' He's done that shit like three times."

Pusha T released King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, which was billed as a warm-up project for King Push, in 2015.

The last we heard, Kanye announced that Pusha's album will be released on May 25th. It will be followed by a solo Kanye project, a Kanye and Kid Cudi project, a Nas album, and a Teyana Taylor project, all overseen by Kanye.
