Capital Steez may be gone, but he's far from forgotten. The late Pro Era mastermind has been memorialized on an annual basis through the STEEZ Day festival, with the fourth installment set to take place this summer. The Festival will take place on July 8th at Central Park, and Joey Bada$$ has taken to Instagram to share some of the lineup. Naturally, it features himself at the helm, as well as Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers (Beast Coast!!!) and more set to be announced.
All in all, if you're a fan of the Pro Era movement, STEEZ Day is a must, especially after Flatbush Zombies dropped their excellent Vacation In Hell. Should you be interested in catching the festival, you can cop tickets this Friday, April 27th. All the proceeds from the event are set to go to STEEZ' family, which gives the festival an added sense of purpose. Be sure to check out the official flyer below, as shared by Joey Bada$$. Keep a close eye on the Pro Era camp, who may very well announce a few added names to the roster.
Hopefully we'll have further word on the Beast Coast album that may or may not be in the works; after all, it's as good a time as any to premiere some new vibes. Rest in peace Captial STEEZE.
