Diana Ross is a distinguished lady. It comes as no surprise that the diva is said to dislike reality television. It is however ironic that Ross would appear on a show that falls under the genre if this is the case.
Her son Evan Ross and his wife Ashlee Simpson star in their very own reality television show Ashlee+Evan. Since Diana is part of the family, the matriarch will take part in the production, regardless of whether she truly appreciates the genre.
Evan's sister Tracy Ellis Ross is also set to be featured on the series. The show's leading man commented on the support and encouragement he received from his family.
"I just feel really lucky I have family that loves and supports us in the way they do. And that also trust that we’re going to do something that is right in the right kind of way. They did and do. It’s really special because they are such a huge part of our lives. My sisters, brothers, mom — especially my mom, who is such a huge inspiration in my life. She has been so supportive of me and Ashlee, marrying me and Ashlee. It was really special that we were wanting and willing to do it."
The Series premiere of Ashlee+Evan airs on E! tonight.
