A legend has returned to the fold.

Today, Wu-Tang general Ghostface Killah has slid through to once again dust up his Wallabees. Teaming with producer Big Ghost, the pair have come forth with The Lost Tapes, a nostalgic wink at classics like Ironman and Supreme Clientele. A wide array of stalwart lyricists have come forth to add their voices, including Snoop Dogg, Ras Kass, E-40, Raekwon, KXNG Crooked, and more. For those pining for a simpler time, The Lost Tapes should prove a breath of fresh air.

While always respected, it seems as if Ghostface Killah has recently come into his own as a leader. It was previously reported that he would be overseeing a brand new Wu-Tang Clan album, taking over the directorial role previously held by RZA; a passing-of-the-torch moment, void of any animosity, despite an occasionally uncertain trajectory. In any case, Ghost has long earned his stripes, and few can boast such a storied run. It's refreshing to see him continue to flourish in 2018, and one has to respect some of the legendary names he tapped for the occasion.
