Kevin Spacey, Michael Kelly, Robin Wright, and Lin-Manuel Miranda speak onstage during the 2017 Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on June 11, 2017 in New York City.

Wright has nothing bad to say about her former co-star.

Kevin Spacey's career took a dive last year when he was accused of making sexual advances on a 14-year-old Anthony Rapp. Rapp, who is now in his mid-40's, started a chain reaction that led to other men coming out to admit they were also sexually assaulted by Spacey in the last twenty years. Once the allegations were made public, Spacey apologized and came out as gay, earning him backlash from the LGBT community. Netflix, who broke into the original content world with House of Cards, decided to part ways with Spacey after cries for his termination rang out across every corner of the internet.

Robin Wright, who co-starred on House of Cards with Spacey, sat down on TODAY and opened up about her relationship with the accused actor for the first time. "I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened," she admitted about hearing the news pertaining to Spacey's victims. "We were coworkers, really. We never socialized outside of work. Respectful, professional relationship. He was so great with me, he was never disrespectful to me, so that's my personal experience, that's the only thing I feel I have the right to talk about." Wright continued on to claim she hasn't spoken to Spacey and has no clue how to contact him. "I haven't heard from him and I don't even know how to reach him. Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut, and in between setups where we would giggle. I didn't know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is."
