BlocBoy JB is undoubtedly one of the biggest breakthrough stars of 2018. Although he might be known by the masses for his collaboration with Drake on "Look Alive," BlocBoy JB has still been delivering hit after hit after hit throughout this year. We finally received his mixtape, SIMI earlier this year but he's been coming through with loose tracks relatively frequently. Now, he comes through with his latest track, "Down Bad."

We haven't heard a whole lot of solo music from BlocBoy since he dropped his mixtape but he's back with a brand new track titled, "Down Bad." The rapper's latest single was produced by Rvssian, who's known for his work in the dancehall scene. The new track carries a similar dark and heavy bassline that's found in many of his hits and often associated with the Memphis sound.

Back in August, BlocBoy JB teased a new mixtape which would be completely produced by Tay Keith. It's unsure when it'll see the light of day but we're definitely looking forward to it.

Quotable Lyrics
I got the bag so you know I act a asshole
Walk with that banana, tote that bitch, name it Mojo
I don't do security, I might hit the club solo
N***a tried to rob me, put eight in him, that's a ocho
