Prince's talents can be heard on Janelle Monae's upcoming album.

Janelle Monae's upcoming album Dirty Money was announced less than two weeks ago and since then she's followed up on her futuristic trailer with two tracks. "Make Me Feel" is a dance-friendly pop song while "Django Jane" hears Janelle's voice stripped down to hear her rapping skills.

In a since-deleted Facebook post by Prince's former DJ Lenka Paris, she explains how Janelle's song "Make Me Feel" has samples by none other than Prince, that was created "roughly 2 and a half years ago."

Janelle confirmed the reports during her interview with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. “Prince actually was working on the album with me before he passed on to another frequency, and helped me come up with sounds,” she said. “And I really miss him, you know, it’s hard for me to talk about him. But I do miss him, and his spirit will never leave me.”

Janelle's last studio release was 2013’s Electric Lady. Even with her time off pursuing music for her self - since she's been dominating the acting lane - she's been steady assisting the careers of  Jidenna, Roman Gian Arthur, Deep Cotton and St. Beauty with her Wondaland Records.

Keep it locked for more singles from Janelle ahead of her Dirty Computer release.
