Mandy Moore appeared on Sirius XM's The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, and the conversation eventually tread into more personal terrain. The radio host recalled a 2006 interview in which Moore's ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama revealed that he had taken her virginity when they began dating.
However, the This is Us actress shot down that statement during a 2006 interview with Elle, and did so again on Howard Stern. The moment he brought up Valderrama's name, Moore responded with "oh God," as if she had an inkling of what was about to come next.
Stern brought up how the That 70s Show reportedly "took your virginity," prompting Moore to staunchly deny the claim. "He did not. I dated him when I was 16 and 17 -- No! I love him and I still love him and he's a very good friend. And that's why I was so shocked by it because not only was it a fib, but it was so unlike him, it was so uncharacteristic."
The two still remain on good terms, with Moore insisting that Valderrama is "a good guy," despite his falsified assertion.
