Jay Park came through with two new drops today, including his new single "Dank."
The Thurxday-produced track opens with an acoustic guitar chord progression that evolves as the track progresses. The trap-like beat pushes the smooth groove forward, allowing fans to bop their heads or lean back to their liking. Park treats a subject his fans have grown familiar with: stunting on 'em and dismissing haters. This time, the storytelling is wrapped up in a love story.
The artist's most recent project, his very first release via Roc Nation, dropped in June. His Ask About Me EP features the likes of 2 Chainz and Vic Mensa. Jai Park also hopped on other artists' material this summer, like Jarren Benton's "Money Bag," which appears on his fifth studio album, "Yuck Fou."
Park's preceding album, Everything You Wanted, was released in 2016.
