Chris Brown always seems to have some sort of problems going on in his life, even when he isn't directly involved in any way. Yesterday, the singer was sued after a woman detailed an alleged sexual assault that happened at Breezy's home. Brown's lawyer responded to the claim earlier today and said that the sexual assault lawsuit was a "shakedown." The man who allegedly raped Jane Doe was Brown's friend, Lowell Grissom Jr. He's since made a comment through his lawyer and "vehemently denies" that he sexually assaulted the woman.
Lowell Grissom Jr. denies all allegations held against him in the sexual assault case, TMZ reports. The woman accused Grissom of grabbing her out of the bathroom and then raping her. She says he found her in the laundry room later and raped her again. Grissom's lawyer says his client was name was cleared in the case following a full investigation on the matter.
"Lowell vehemently denies these false and defaming accusations originated last year, ending with no arrests, no proof, an inconclusive rape kit and after a police investigation -- no charges filed." He told them. "This civil lawsuit is a blatant attempt at a money grab and to harm the reputation of my client while encouraging PR noise for Gloria Allred while she exploits this young woman for her own financial gains and public persona."
Grissom's lawyer also told them that he believes they'll end up winning the case.
