2 Chainz has offered an apology to Keith Lee and all of his fans after reflecting on a recent contentious conversation.

2 Chainz found himself in the midst of a discourse cycle on social media after an appearance on Den Of Kings. During the episode, he got to sit across from TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee. This subsequently led to a conversation about Lee's credentials for reviewing food, and how he once gave a 2 Chainz restaurant a bad review.

As it turns out, 2 Chainz got his food reviewers mixed up. It was actually Mr. Chimetime who reviewed the restaurant. Whatever the case, their dispute had more to do with service standards as opposed to the actual food served at the rapper's restaurants.

Lee stated how he doesn't like being treated special compared to others. It happens all too often because people know who he is and want a good review. As a result, he sends his family in first just to see how they might get treated.

2 Chainz argued that celebrities work hard for special treatment, and that this is how it should be. This subsequently led to a conversation on social media, with many disliking 2 Chainz's mentality.

After mostly sticking to his guns on the subject, 2 Chainz has since decided to apologize.

2 Chainz Apologizes

"I got a chance to speak to Keith after the podcast and it was all love. I know my words offended some people and I apologize for that. What I said and what I meant were two different things. I could’ve done a better job getting my point across," 2 Chainz wrote.

2 Chainz saw the backlash and is owning up to his words. Of course, there are some fans who are going to be reluctant to forgive him for this one. His statement is one of those things that tends to stick in people's minds for a while.

Either way, it's always good when someone sees the error of their ways and owns up to it.
