Eazy The Block Captain and Papoose have been trading lyrical blows over their Remy Ma relationships and Claressa Shields' defense of Pap.

Papoose and Remy Ma used to be an iconic hip-hop couple, but now they represent one of the genre's most infamous breakup stories. Cheating allegations against Remy tied to Eazy The Block Captain surfaced a few years ago, and she continues to beef with Pap and with his new boo, Claressa Shields. Amid the lyrical battle between Papoose and Eazy The Block Captain, the latter decided to drop off the new diss track "Letter To Claressa."

It's an unsurprisingly dramatic track with a grand instrumental and no breaks in between the verses, and it won't convince anyone on the other side of this feud or anyone who isn't already invested. Still, there are some sharp bars throughout from Eazy, even if the subject matter is what folks really care about in this situation.

On that note, as the diss track's title suggests, The Block Captain reached out to Shields. He said she could be doing better and warned her of Pap's alleged misdeeds. It's a far cry from previous disses, which took more of a taunting jab at the Claressa romance and focused more on Papoose's relationship dynamics with Remy.

We'll see if the female boxer responds, or if Pap himself decides to drop another track on the matter. This messy situation will only get messier if they keep this up, and that's exactly what many ravenous fans want to see.

Elsewhere, Papoose's diss track towards Eazy The Block Captain, the recent "Food For Thought" freestyle, was particularly dismissive and off-the-cuff. In comparison to Eazy's formal music video for "Letter To Claressa," it shows how both MCs might be feeling about their combat.

One side seems more "unbothered," while the other is "adamant." We'll see if this actually pans out into more explosive claims or bars, or if it just stays in the Internet gossip space.

Throughout all of this, Remy Ma is chiming in as well. She recently dropped her Alimony EP, which addresses some of these narratives. On the other hand, Claressa Shields is always quick to dismiss drama, clap back at haters, and make her presence felt online.
