LeBron James is getting spooky with the Nike LeBron 24 "Storm Drain." The pair is expected to release on October 30th for $200.
The design comes from the Pennywise costume LeBron wore for Halloween in 2017. That costume was a hit with fans, so the shoe feels like a fun throwback.
Overall, the look is simple but very clever. A silver and white upper has a weathered finish, as if it spent too long in a gutter. Black smudges run across the KingKnit panels.
Red adds a vibrant touch to the shoes. The laces are red and fuzzy, and a red metallic Swoosh sits on the heel. Inside, the lining is also fuzzy red, which nods to the pom-poms on Pennywise's outfit.
There is also one more surprise on the shoes. An eye graphic appears on the inside of the tongue, so it looks like the shoe is watching you. The shoe is littered with little details, that horror fans will definitely appreciate.
The name also fits. In the movie It, Pennywise hides in the sewer, so "Storm Drain" is a clever way to tell the story. The style code is IX5103-001, and sizing is unisex. Pairs should be available on Nike.com and at select retailers.
Nike LeBron 24 “Storm Drain”
The shoe is part of Nike Basketball's 2026 Halloween collection. Other signature models from Giannis, Ja Morant, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Caitlin Clark are also included.
Most of the collection begins arriving on October 23rd. That makes late October a busy stretch for basketball fans who like themed shoes.
This is also a big year for LeBron's signature line. The LeBron 24 is his latest model, and it introduces a lighter KingKnit build. We covered the Nike LeBron 24 "Greater China" earlier this month.
Compared to that pair, the "Storm Drain" is much louder. It shows how wide the LeBron 24 lineup is. Nike is mixing cultural designs, holiday looks, and simple colorways.
