Joony returns with new album STILL HERE. It's a a 15-track project that finds the DMV-bred rapper reflecting on what it has taken to keep moving forward. The project follows 2023’s MEMENTO and his 2024 collaborative EP with Jordan Ward, JRNY. Since then, Joony has continued building his catalog as a rapper, songwriter, and producer, including earning a Grammy nomination for his contribution to Destin Conrad’s Love On Digital and an RIAA Gold plaque for “Paper Soldier” with Brent Faiyaz. The album opens with “YES MA’AM” and moves between upbeat moments and more sobering reflections on loss, fame, money, relationships, and personal struggles. STILL HERE gives Joony room to turn introspection toward his own experiences and make a statement about his next chapter.
