Drake's "HABIBTI (FOMO)" features four new tracks, including a Don Toliver-assisted "Choosin' Texas" interpolation and another Don collab.

Drake continues to dominate 2026. ICEMAN is in album of the year talks and he's found new avenues to keep his other material from this year relevant. The Boy's "FOMO" short film led to the release of the deluxe HABIBTI (FOMO) project. It added four new songs to the original tracklist. Unsurprisingly, projections indicate Drizzy's latest drop will do very well sales-wise.

According to Nora Music, early first-week sales projections for the record indicate it will move 65K album-equivalent units. Hip Hop All Day reported it may re-peak at number two on next week's Billboard 200 albums chart. This is off the strength of these new tracks, which are a sequel to the original "Classic," "Quebec," the Don Toliver-assisted "Cold Shoulder," and the Don-assisted interpolation of "Choosin' Texas" by Ella Langley, the fan-favorite "Solar Eclipse."

Per Bars on Instagram, these new records accumulated 8.96 million Spotify streams in their first full day on the streaming service. "Solar Eclipse" reportedly earned around 3.3 million streams, followed by "Cold Shoulder" and "Quebec" with around 2.2 million each and "Classic PT2" with around 1.3 million. As of writing this article, those numbers remain the same on the digital streaming platform.

Of course, these projected and confirmed commercial performances led to a lot of debate online. There's still a lot of criticism against the 6ix God for his material, while many other fans and listeners don't understand the issues. Others played the comparison game with other numbers this week from artists like Taylor Swift and fellow MCs. In any case, all this talk will likely boost HABIBTI (FOMO)'s profile more and more.

Elsewhere, Drake chimed in on other conversations surrounding him, particularly the notion that he is a "trick." An interviewer talking with Victoria Monét called him a "professional" one, which led to a lengthy response from him on Instagram. Monét later clarified she never brought up the Toronto superstar's name when fans and media outlets started to bash her.

Whether in positive or negative lights, the OVO mogul continues to lead conversations in 2026. We'll see how HABIBTI (FOMO) officially ends up performing commercially next week.
