Keke Wyatt Accused Of Threatening To “Blow” Woman’s “Brains Out”

The arrest warrant behind Keke Wyatt’s recent Georgia case is filling in details that were missing when news of her booking first surfaced. A witness reportedly told police that the R&B singer pulled out a handgun during a Sept. 20 custody exchange and threatened to shoot another woman, an allegation Wyatt denied when questioned by officers.

According to the affidavit obtained by TMZ, Wyatt was present when an argument broke out between two other people involved in the exchange. A witness alleged that Wyatt produced a black 9mm Beretta and extended it through a car window before saying, “Let that b*tch come over here, so I can blow her brains out.” Wyatt acknowledged holding the gun, according to the affidavit, but denied pointing it through the window or threatening anyone.

Complex reports that three children were nearby when the confrontation allegedly unfolded. Authorities cited their presence in connection with the child cruelty allegation that appeared in Wyatt’s booking information. The affidavit does not accuse her of physically harming a child.

Wyatt’s team has challenged much of the reporting surrounding her arrest. In a statement shared after the booking became public, her representatives said Henry County court documents reflect only one simple assault charge. They specifically denied that she was charged with cruelty to children or terroristic threats.

Public booking information tells a different story. Records reviewed by CBS Atlanta list more serious allegations, while the warrant affidavit describes the alleged gun threat that investigators say prompted the arrest. Wyatt’s representatives have not released the court documents they referenced, leaving an unresolved discrepancy between the booking record and the case status they say is currently before the court.

Wyatt was released after posting $1,050 bond two days after her arrest. Her team says she intends to address the matter through the legal process and continue with her scheduled performances.
