Kanye West and Jay-Z delivered a classic with Watch The Throne. While opinions on that project are mixed, there is no denying that it was a product of its time. Furthermore, it sparked a boom in collaborative projects that would eventually materialize from 2015-2017.
Overall, there are some incredible songs on this album. "Otis," "No Church In The Wild," and "In Paris" certainly come to mind. However, there are also some unreleased grails that fans have been trying to get their hands on for years.
One of those songs is called "Living So Italian." Snippets of the song have surfaced online over the years, although the song has yet to be revealed in its entirety. That said, according to Kurrco, a new nine-second snippet has leaked online, and it comes with some rapping from Ye. The production itself has this lavish European feel to it, which certainly matches the name of the song.
A Kanye West x Jay-Z Grail
This is the kind of song that became Ye's bread and butter during this time. Hearing Jay-Z on this production would just be the cherry on top. Of course, the two have since fallen out, and they will probably never link up again. "Jail" will probably go down as their last official collaboration.
That said, one has to wonder about this snippet and what else must be out there. There were plenty of unreleased songs during the Watch The Throne era. Songs that we may never hear. It really makes you wonder about the value of some of these hard drives that are lying around.
