You may have heard Yak Gotti on Barter 6 or seen him in some of Young Thug's videos, but the well connected Atlanta rapper is quickly building the foundation for a successful career in the game. He's just come through with his new mixtape, Mind of Maniac, which includes features from Lil Duke, Jose Guapo, and Hoodrich Pablo Juan. That Barter 6 joint, "Dream," is also on here, and it's good enough that you might as well keep two copies on deck.
Gotti has an unhinged style much like Thugger, but his rapping is grimier, rougher, and more street-focused. The maniacal unpredictability is what keeps the tape sounding so fresh. Production comes from Keyz, 808 Mafia, and KC Da Beatmonster.
