The trailer for "The Lego Batman Movie" angles itself as a story about Batman's search for personal satisfaction, moreso than a battle between hero and villain. For us, however, this trailer is mostly about Michael Cera, and his perfection as the voice of Robin the Boy Wonder. Although this hilarious-looking film features the voice talents of Zach Galifianakis (The Joker), Rosario Dawson (Batgirl), and Will Arnett (Batman), Michael Cera stands out as the key feature here. Also, the combo of Arnett and Cera means this is like one third of an "Arrested Development" reunion.
"Lego Batman" seems to be a return to innocence for Cera after his shockingly phenomenal turn as a cokehead version of himself in "This Is The End." For old time's sake, we've attached a clip of Cera slapping Rihanna's ass from TITE below.
