The Weeknd was in L.A. last night for his "Vevo Presents" concert, and a highlight of the show was the surprise appearance of hometown hero Kendrick Lamar, who joined the Toronto singer for their Starboy collaboration "Sidewalks," performing the song together for the first time. Their onstage chemistry makes for a killer rendition, and Kendrick goes crazy on his guest verse. Judging by its response, the crowd knew that the first-ever live duet of "Sidewalks" was a special one, even though many chose to watch it through their iPhones. 

In a pre-album interview with Zane Lowe, The Weeknd discussed his collab with Kendrick and described the Compton rapper as "really a genius." Is
