In a recent interview, the UK rapper used his shine to shed light on the topic of depression, a highly stigmatized topic that takes lives everyday. Here's an excerpt of what Stormzy had to say:
"For me it was a realization of how fragile we are as humans, in the most beautiful way possible ... You almost realize how important it is to keep loved ones around you, to keep yourself focused and sane, and all these things. That was a world that was so alien to me, I just used to think you just get up, march on."
