In a perfect world, a Philthy Rich and Mozzy beef would be written up as a no-contest. But that simply isn't the case, Mozzy fell out of favor with Philthy Rich, the moment he signed his bitter rival Messy Marv to a subsidiary deal. And yet, "Don't Forget" doesn't drag its target into a game of cat and mouse, but not out of fear of reprisal, mind you.
It seems Messy Marv aligned himself with Mozzy after the former completes a three-year prison bid in the state of Texas. Why you ask: Messy and Philthy Rich's blood feud dates back to a diss record titled Swear To God," after one side accused the other of underhanded motives.
In 2019, Philthy Rich finds himself the bit-player in this "proxy war" with Mozzy, whose "Chill Phillipe" record came second to "Don't Forget" in order of appearance, but was nonetheless the first to make the rounds.
