A Tupac biopic is said to be coming in 2016.

There have been plenty of rumors of various rap biopics following the success of Straight Outta Compton, but a new film on the life of Tupac seems like it's the real deal. An IDMB page lists the film, simply titled, Tupac, as being in pre-production, and producer Randall Mogul announced on Instagram that filming will begin in December.

He also posted a mock poster for the film, which lists it as "Coming in 2016," and went on to thank partners LT Hutton (producer for Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg), 50 Cent, and Mark Wahlberg. Afeni Shakur is also listed as an executive-producer, so this seems to be the real deal.
