"Gone ’Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island" is due out this October.

Lil Wayne reps recently confirmed that he will release “Gone ’Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island," a memoir of the eight months he spent in jail in 2010, on October 2011.

Wayne shared the book cover on his Instagram Wednesday afternoon. It presents the book as Wayne's personal journal -- a red Composition notebook with the words "Gone 'Til November" scrawled across in large, graffiti font.

A representative for Penguin, the publisher in charge of the "Gone 'Til November," stated that the book was “taken directly from Wayne’s own journal" and that it will “reveal the true story of what happened while he was at Rikers Island, exploring everything from his daily rituals to his interactions with other inmates to how he was able to keep himself motivated and grateful.”
