However, this has not stopped celebrities from snapping a quick photo in the museum's bathroom or other, less-crowded spaces while taking a break from the night's festivities.
Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Ariana Grande, who all attended the illustrious A-List event, decided to forgo Ms. Wintour's requests and take a quick photo together. Kardashian was caught posing for a selfie alongside her famous half-sister and friend, although Grande's wide-eyed gaze is fixated on something outside of the frame.

However, Grande wasn't the only celebrity both Jenner and Kardashian were seen taking selfies with. The pair were also photographed alongside Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez and designer Alexander Wang.

Kardashian attended the event without husband Kanye West, who was too busy working on the five albums worth of material he has created in recent times. However, she effectively filled his void with an arsenal of talents from the entertainment world.
