After blowing up with his smash hit “Drank In My Cup” Kirko Bangz is eyeing the release of his studio project. In a recent interview on Power 106, the H-Town rapper talked about working on the album, and was tight lipped about features, but did confirm he has recorded recent material with Tyga and Nipsey Hussle.
Addressing his album, which he had previously revealed will feature some unreleased joints Bangz has been sitting on, he says it’s just starting to be put together, “We got a lot of good records, but I’m gonna say we still in the beginning stage,” and adds fans can expect it to drop around the summer, “Probably sometime summer time, or sometime after that.”
When asked about features, Kirko was reluctant, but did reveal he had linked up with both Tyga, and Nipsey in the studio, “Tyga he was just in the video shoot you know that’s the homie, so I gotta give Tyga some...I got a record with Nipsey, that’s my homie too.” Although he does say the Nipsey Hussle tune will not be on Kirko’s LP, “That song is done, that song is not on the album, we got something else for the homie Nipsey... that’s just something we got, we don’t know what we gonna do with it.”
