Our last Word On The Street focused on the recent Kanye West and Taylor Swift "Famous" lyric dispute, with T-Swift alleging that she did not approve Kanye's MTV VMA-referencing lyrics, despite him saying otherwise. Wifey Kim Kardashian came to the rescue when she released footage of Kanye calling Taylor and telling her the lyrics over speakerphone.
Reports circulated for a while that Taylor was contemplating legal action, and Kanye kept the feud going with recent remarks during Drake's "Summer Sixteen" tour stop. Justin Bieber, who straddles both the pop world and the rap world these days, is choosing sides today, and he's choosing Kanye's side. The singer took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a recent Facetime session with Kanye West, snidely captioning it, "Taylor Swift what up."
