This week marked Daniel Caesar's official return as he prepares for his forthcoming full-length project, a follow-up to 2015's Pilgrim's Paradise.
In true fashion, he chose to release two tracks at once, set to be on the new project. Both tracks were premiered earlier in the week via Carl Chery's #CoSign show on Beats 1 Radio.
While the first of the two, "We Find Love," touches on giving up on love, its companion "Blessed" is what harmoniously uncovers the realities of unconditional love, a raw and beautiful skill that Daniel Caesar has particularly mastered.
"He’s in a zone. He’s locked in, making something truly special," Chery told Billboard of the tracks. "I’ve been listening to 'We Find Love,' 'Blessed' and other songs from his next project for months. It’s the best music I’ve ever championed."
