Brie Larson attends Marvel Studios' 'CAPTAIN MARVEL' Teaser Trailer Launch at National Air & Space Museum on September 18, 2018 in Washington, DC.

Captain Marvel is coming.

The more Marvel Studios shares of Captain Marvel, the more it looks like a buddy-team up flick. Think Thor and The Hulk in Ragnorok, but with a powerful feminine kick. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) teams up with Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) to take down the Skrulls, shapeshifting aliens who are attempting to infiltrate the Earth. Since Captain Marvel takes place in the 90's, I expect Marvel to pull a fast one by hitting us with a secret identity revelation within the Avengers. Maybe some of those heroes that died were actually Skrulls in disguise. That would be a great way to bring back Loki. During the College Football National Championship on ESPN, Disney debuted a new trailer for Captain Marvel that is packed with new footage.

The third, and presumably the penultimate, trailer for the film highlights Captain Marvel and Nick Fury's relationship. Fury is much more hopeful and enjoyable in his youth, and Captain Marvel's dry and witty humor meshes well with his cut-to-the-chase attitude. The trailer also gives fans a first glimpse at how the Skrulls shapeshift, which looks like their skin is burning off as they transform. The Skrulls won't be Captain Marvel's only problem. The powerful hero will also be fighting demons from her past. Captain Marvel drops on March 9.
