August Alsina drops off his first full-length, studio album since 2015, and the fans are eating it up.

We've been covering August Alsina's journey as a songwriter and supporting his music for quite some time now. Yet, it hasn't been an easy course for the New Orleans-bred artist. Despite his obvious talent and his endearing personality, the singer has had to contend with plenty of life battles that have put a damper on his burgeoning career.

Among the turbulent life experiences Alsina had to go through, he dealt with the death of his sisterhe lost his ability to walk and had to go through immunotherapy to support his struggling immune system, and he even had to overcome a Percocet addiction, not to mention a liver disease. Yes, and that doesn't even include all the little incidents in between, such as a three-day coma and eviction. He's sharing a closer look into his struggles by way of a YouTube docu-series, you can catch the first episode below too.

He's gone through enough for a whole life time in just 27 years. Perhaps now he is finally turning a corner in life and receiving all the good karma he's due back. It starts with a new album, Product III: stateofEMERGEncy, a follow up to Product II from 2013.

He only announced the imminent release last week, before bombarding fans with drops almost every day leading up to the album. Now that the album is here, five years after his last studio album This Thing Called Life-- and yes we are aware he dropped off EPs in between-- fans appear to be fully enjoying the body of work. And there is a lot of work to consume, to be clear, it's a 27-song album with limited features from Lil Wayne, Juicy J, Yo Gotti, Tink and Darrel Wells.

Check out some of the enthusiastic reactions to the album below, and let us know if you're loving it in the comments.
