August Alsina suddenly collapsed while performing in New York City at the Irving Theatre a few days back, the show was part of his tour with Teyana Taylor. The artist was quickly brought to the hospital, where he's remained for the last several days. The reason for his hospitalization was rumored to be severe dehydration and exhaustion, it was reported he suffered from multiple seizures, something we've seen happen with artists in the past.
We haven't actually heard from August since the incident, but today it looks like the singer was finally feeling (a bit) better, and took to Instagram to share an image of what he's been going through the past week, at the same time revealing that he was actually in a coma for three days.
Along with the image (which you can view above), August wrote, "This is a bit graphic but i wanted to share this w/ every follower of mine. iWoke up out of a 3 day coma... &This guy @banggang_moneyteam right here never once left my side. What I'm tryna say is cherish the ones in life who cherish you & take good care of yourself. Your life can be gone in a split second'. I'm recovering well and thankyou for all of your prayers & concerns."
We're sending our well wishes to August, and hope that he makes a speedy recovery.
