Young Thug has a deal with the growing 300 label, according to Kevin Liles.
Young Thug seems to be signing deals with just about everyone these days. Today it's being reported that Thugga is signed to the independent label 300, helmed by Lyor Cohe and Todd Moscowitz. This just muddies the water even further when it comes to Thug's label status.
In March it was reported that Young Thug was signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 imprint through Atlantic, while the rapper has also been linked to Birdman's Cash Money.
In a new interview with Revolt TV, industry executive Kevin Liles claims that Thugga has a deal with 300. "We have a deal with Young Thug that I’m excited about," he says. 300 has already signed rising rapper Raz Simone, among others, and Liles promises more artist deals are in the works.
Liles goes on to explain how 300 works differently than other major labels, you can take a look at the full interview below.
We'll update you when Young Thug's label situation becomes more clear (or less, for that matter).
