Raekwon's F.I.L.A. seemed like it might never arrive, and then when it did, it seemed all-too-quiet of a release. The new video for "1,2,1,2" should give you a reason to check out the new effort, as Rae links up with a reinvigorated rapping Snoop. The two rep one another's coasts with Dogg rocking a Yankees fitted while The Chef shows love to the Raiders and Crenshaw.

Snoop Dogg's upcoming album, Bush, should be a huge departure for him, largely due to Pharrell's involvement in the project, something that Snoop won't let you forget when discussing his new music. In an interview with Complex, the West Coast OG cited his creative partnership with Pharrell when asked about pretty much all of the creative decisions on the record.

Grammy-nominated DJ/producer Clinton Sparks continues to sing over his own tracks, and "The Reaper" is one of his best yet. It helps he's brought along some prime L.A. company, Snoop Dogg and Problem.  "The Reaper" video begins with a nerve-racking mood of escape, with Clinton and a young woman driving down an open road through the desert, eventually making it into Vegas. It's clear a dangerous job awaits. About three minutes in, there's a brutal standoff, which ends with the woman killing a man who we learn, had, months ago, forced her into prostitution.

Yesterday, on 4/20, DJ Whoo Kid brought in stoner god Tommy Chong, one-half of comedy duo Cheech & Chong, to his Whoolywood Shuffle radio show. Cheech & Chong's 1978 comedy "Up in Smoke" has cemented its place in hip-hop, inspiring Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg's famed tour of the same name. Chong says the legacy of his stoner brand of comedy showed rappers like Dre & Snoop they "could be who they are."

The "Quintessential" video starts with Ross in a Vegas pawn shop, the official "Pawn Stars" shop in fact, trying to make back some cash after a "rough night at the casino." He ends up giving over a woman he's with for $3,500.

Rick Rock has been putting on for the Bay since the early 90s, and with the classic sound experiencing a resurgence with the emergence of DJ Mustard, HBK Gang, and the like, he's showing he can throw down just as well as the young dudes. "Neva Met" has the signature bounce the Bay's been known for all along, but it's a little more shiny and R&B-inflected than what we heard back in the day.

Although we've yet to receive the first single "Peaches N Cream", which they performed in L.A.

iLoveMakonnen
Atlanta via L.A. oddball hitmaker iLoveMakonnen sits down and smokes up with Snoop on the latest episode of GGN. The conversation starts with a discussion on "Tuesday," Makonnen's smash hit, and how it came out. In addition, Snoop gives his own gospel rendition of the song ("Sunday"). As things get more faded, the two talk teleportation, and Snoop put Makonnen through a series of quizzes, in which he admits he thinks about sex at least 50 times a day.  Who else would you like to see in Snoop's hot seat?
