Your Old Droog had a fair amount of mystique around him when he first emerged, but in the internet age, that kind of anonymity is difficult to uphold, and it wasn't long before the curtains were pulled open. Still, even without the mystery, the skill is still present, and Droog's upcoming EP, The Nicest, remains a highly anticipated release.
On his new record, "We Don't Know You", he still sounds a hell of a lot like Nas, but like Action Bronson's likening to Ghostface before him, that association will melt away with time.
