Wu-Tang Clan Announce New EP Inspired By "Of Mics & Men" Docuseries

Wu-Tang Clan's legacy is being celebrated in a few ways for the 25th anniversary of their quintessential debut album, Enter The Wu-TangMass Appeal produced a new documentary on the Staten Island collective which premiered on Showtime last week, titledOf Mics & Men. Now, they will be releasing a brand new project to accompany the docuseries.

Wu-Tang Clan announced that they'll be releasing a new EP this Friday via Mass Appeal and 36 Chambers. Wu-Tang: Of Mics And Men EP will arrive on the same day that part two of the docuseries airs.

"You've seen episode 1/ Wu documentary by now (and if you haven't, what were you doing last weekend), now listen to the music inspired by the series. On Friday, we're coming with a new Wu-Tang EP from @36ChambersALC and Mass Appeal, so let your boss know you'll be in late to work," read a tweet on their account.

Aside form the Mass Appeal documentary, Hulu, which Disney recently took full control of, is set to air a new series based on the Wu-Tang Clan called, Wu-Tang: An American Saga. They haven't revealed when the show is set to make its debut but they've already started filming, it seems. Dave East is set to take on the role of Method Man along with a cast consisting of Julian Elijah Martinez and Sopranosalum Vinnie Pastore.
