"A bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived."
Earlier this month, Netflix announced "Stranger Things" will be returning for Season 2 on October 27th, just in time to binge all of the episodes during Halloween weekend.
Netflix unleashed the first teaser trailer for Season 2 of "Stranger Things" during Super Bowl LI back in February, but over the weekend at San Diego Comic Con they debuted the first official trailer.
The three-minute trailer, featuring Michael Jackson's "Thriller," reveals much more details about what's in store for Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, Eleven and the rest of the Stranger Things cast.
"It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived."
