Drizzy loves the UK and the UK loves Drizzy.

Grime was unfortunately snubbed at this year's BRIT Awards, but the American hip-hop artists did fairly well. Drake, who has been very open about his love for the London music scene, was awarded the trophy for Best International Male Solo Artist at the event. While he's been touring Europe over the last month, Drizzy was not able to make it to the 02 Arena in London to accept the award, but he did record a video acceptance that was played at the show.

"This is probably the most important award to me that I could possibly win," he said. "You guys obviously know how much I care about UK, how much I care about London. Our goal, being from Toronto, is always to be worldwide, so this really solidifies it for us."

"Big up to my brother Skep, OVO BBK to the world," he continued. "Wishing you the best of luck tonight."

Unfortunately, Drake's pal Skepta did not win any awards, but he did take the stage. Watch his performance below.

As for the other American rap stars to get some shine, A Tribe Called Quest walked away with the award for Best International Group.
