The 6-minute clip gives an in-depth look at the inspiration behind Curry's visceral brand of hip-hop.

Denzel Curry has emerged as one of the most creative up-and-coming emcees around, and his recent Imperial mixtape has catapulted him beyond underground status. His recent success recently earned him the opportunity to tour overseas, and while in London, Curry was the focus of a mini-documentary put out by FACT magazine. The documentary, named after Curry's "Knotty Head" nickname, follows Curry around London and goes backstage with him before a mad-looking sold-out show.

The whole video is narrated with intriguing quotables from the 21-year-old emcee. "Before a show I just think about failure. All my failures -- how do I translate all the pain into power," says Curry while footage shows him walking around the venue during sound check. Toward the end of the doc, during slow-motion footage of Curry's raging performance, he says, "The only thing I got left is my creation and my art."

We just rounded up 10 of Curry's essential tracks. Check out the list here, and watch our recent in-depth interview with Curry below.
