Beef on the set of Fast 8.

Just the other day, The Rock took to instagram, as he so often does, to talk about the filming of his upcoming project, "Fast 8."

He posted a video of his character "Hobbs" kicking the shit out of a cop and provided a caption that started off innocent enough, praising all of his female co-workers. But then the narrative shifted and The Rock laid the verbal smack down on some unnamed male co-workers who he described as "chicken shit" and a "candy ass."

Per The Rock's IG post;

My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right.

People instantly began speculating who the mystery candy ass on the set of Fast 8 was: Ludacris? Jason Statham? Tyrese

As it turns out, he was talking about one of the major stars of the Fast & Furious franchise, Vin Diesel, who also happens to be a producer for Fast 8.

According to TMZ, The Rock and Diesel had to have a secret meeting about the rant while working on set in Atlanta on Tuesday. The Rock reportedly was unhappy with some decisions Diesel made on the project, and the drama became so bad that shooting scenes became difficult.

Filming is set to conclude in just a week and a half and The Rock's co-stars obviously aren't thrilled with his aggressive comments which had the media badgering cast members for answers over the last two days.

Tyrese had this to say about the situation in an IG post that has since been deleted;

"Does any of us know why bro decided to jump out there with his post? No….. Would one assume that IF he’s going to jump out there and generalize and say ‘Male Co-Stars’ he would be more clear and call out names??? Of course he should of," the 37-year-old wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, per Entertainment Tonight. "Let me calm you guys all the way down........ I don't know WHO he has a problem [with] and I don't have any details of WHAT those problems are - as a matter of fact if I DID know I would tell you s--t!!!"
