With the rate that NY MCs are dropping freestyles over Bobby Shmurda's "Hot Nigga," any concerns about him not being "New York" enough to succeed in the city are seemingly evaporating into thin air. So far we've heard French Montana, Dyemond Lewis and Troy Ave all release versions, and now Vado and Bubz add theirs to the heap.
Vado keeps the lyrical content true to Shmurda's original, with much talk of drug slangin', street shit and ruling the NYC streets. The scratchy voiced Bubz touches on THOTs, Danny Glover and "Total Slaughter," rounding out a strong take on the unofficial summer anthem of 2014.
