Since Usher’s announcement that he is working on a new album called Flawed, we’ve been unable to resist going back into the catalog of dope tracks Usher has released over the years.
“Climax” was the top single from 2012’s Looking 4 Myself, a masterful pop ballad that toys with the idea of the climax in both the lyrics and the instrumental. Diplo produced the breakaway hit, further proving that despite his antics, he has a fantastic ear for pop production. The song builds and releases, but never has a true “drop” that we’ve come to expect from pop and electronic music alike.
If there’s at least one more song of this caliber on Flawed, we’ll be more than happy.
