Curren$y, Denzel Curry, 21 Savage & More Share Their Favorite Album Of 2017

"I ain't cool with these n*ggas so I'ma talk about it," is how Uncle Murda appropriately kicks off his yearly rap-up song, where he reflects on, and sums up, the past year's events. He's been doing his "Rap Up" records for the past couple of years, but this year he needs nine full minutes to really tackle any and everything that went down tangentially related to hip-hop. Despite the clear amount effort put into the record, it's a novelty type of thing, and thus you may not return to it more than once.

As for the ground he covers during the song: Meek Mill's prison sentence, Nicki Minaj's brother's rape case, Cardi B's success, possible beef between the two aforementioned female rappers, Jay-Z's admitting to cheating on Beyonce, 21 Savage and Amber Rose getting boo'd up, Migos and Joe Budden's beef, Young Dolph's shooting (and this is all within the first two minutes). If you've got close to ten minutes to spare, click play.

Quotable Lyrics

Janet Jackson turned 50, had her first baby
Khaled all over Instagram with his first baby
Beyoncé had twins with Shawn Carter
Serena Williams had a baby, I think Drake is the father
I had a baby, can’t wait ‘til I see him walk
Pharrell had triplets, enough of that baby talk
Back to that street shit, niggas don’t feel me
Taxstone got locked up and pleaded guilty
“Why you ain’t help him?”, I ain’t come with that nigga
We ain’t cool like that but it’s free Tax nigga
