Ty Dolla $ign and 21 Savage drop off new single "Clout."

Ty Dolla $ign has returned to the fold, and he's brought 21 Savage along for the ride. Today, the pair have dropped off a new single from the upcoming deluxe version of Beach House 3, set to drop this Friday. The track, which centers around the highly topical theme of clout, features an understated yet infectious instrumental; it doesn't take long for Ty to make his presence felt, sliding through an array of different flows with a veteran's touch.

Speaking to Zane Lowe, Ty Dolla opens up about how the track came to be. "We were just working on songs and “Clout” came up, you know as soon as I did the hook and the verse and it was time for the second verse, I was like we need 21," explains Ty. "So I hit him up like bro I got the right one for us and he sent right it back." Clearly, 21 remains one of the most sought after commodities in the rap game; it isn't the first time an artist has felt compelled to bring him on board. Savage season indeed.

From the sound of it, Beach House 3's deluxe edition looks to expand on the impressive legacy of its predecessor. "Clout" might not be breaking any new ground, but it certainly has all the makings of a hit. Be sure to check out the single now, and keep a watchful eye for Ty Dolla's future endeavors; rest assured, there's more to come, including a joint album with Jeremih next month.

Quotable Lyrics

Young and making moves like sensei
Don't nobody move, that's what I say
F and blow the cherry off your Sundae
I'm a full time finesser, ain't no chancing it
Hundred hanging off my neck like a chandelier
