Too Short's new project Hella Disrespectful is billed as a "Bay Area mixtape," and from one comb through the tracklist it's very clear why. Of course, Short himself has long been an elder statesman of the region, but on his new project, he's shining a light on the other artists that make up the scene, whether that be fellow OGs like E-40, current stars like G-Eazy, or up-and-comers like Ezale. With "On God," a highlight from the new compilation, he's put together a good mix of collaborators once again. Lil Yase, a young and exciting upstart provides the croaky hook, reminding us that his From The Block Too Alot mixtape was one of the most criminally underrated projects of 2016. Meanwhile, Mistah F.A.B. adds some history to the mix, while Young Gully makes a case as one of East Oakland's most promising voices.

Stream the full project, which also features contributions from Mozzy, Philthy Rich, and J. Stalin, here.

Quotable Lyrics:
We get it on my spot
Make bricks flip, make pies hop
Hurt your felings like 'ouch,' n***a
Benjamins on my couch, n***a
Confident with a couple bands
'Cause there's twenty more
At my house, n***a
